About the Role:
Raydiant is hiring a PR specialist reporting to our CEO and working closely with our executive management team. In this role, you will lead Raydiant's press efforts to be known as the leader in experience management in brick-and-mortar and workplace segments. You will lead the function across all sides of our business working with a range of media outlets. This role will span opportunities from influencing Marketing and IT decision-makers at top companies to investors and influential partners. Down the line, you will have the opportunity to build an in-house team and drive a world-class program to ensure brand recognition and category leadership in experience management.
This role is located at our headquarters in San Francisco, CA and reports directly to the CEO.
What You Will Be Doing:
Secure coverage in national, local, and trade publications to boost Raydiant’s profile, build our reputation, and demonstrate our capabilitiesDraft press releases, pitch letters and reactive statements to gain positive press coverageBuild relationships with key journalists across both B2C and B2B media, with a primary focus on B2B trade outletsCreate and organize targeted press listsCollate and track Raydiant’s media coverageDevelop relationships with key trade publications, securing ongoing weekly and monthly content placementsContribute ideas for surveys and stories will inform the public and clients about ‘what the world thinks’Work with our Thought Leadership / Content Agency to create a voice for everything we publish externally
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years’ public relations experience in either an agency or in-house role (agency experience preferred, but not required)Experience of working under pressure with tight deadlinesExperience with hitting a certain number of press hits in a given monthExperience in building relationships with journalists across local, national, trade outletsA clear and concise writing style and experience of creating different forms of content (press releases, pitch letters, reactive statements etc.)Ability to interface at all levels and maintain strong working relationships cross-functionally and externallyA love of technology and what we do at Raydiant
